Möbius Fund Launch
21 Aug 2017 On 21 August, ITI launched the Möbius Fund, a revolving loan fund for ITI students - the first revolving loan fund of its kind for actor students. -
INSEAD alumni visit ITI
17 Aug 2017 We were delighted to host INSEAD alumni for a visit to ITI. They were welcomed by ITI Director T. Sasitharan and ITI General Manager Goh Su Lin, an INSEAD alumna. Sasi and Su Lin shared insights into independent arts training and ITI's intercultural mission. -

ITI in Taiwan
01 Jul 2017 ITI held workshops and lectures in Taiwan from 28 June – 1 July in collaboration with Möbius Strip Theatre (莫比斯圓環創作公社). -

Art as Res Publicae (SIFA 2017)
28 Jun 2017 ITI Director T. Sasitharan and Board Member Tan Tarn How were consultants for Singapore International Festival of Arts' (SIFA's) opening forum, Art as Res Publicae. Sasi also provided the closing remarks for the evening. -

Capturing the World — sub specie aeternitatis
26 Jun 2017 ITI Director T. Sasitharan's essay on pragmatism in artistic practice, originally presented at a symposium at the University of Buffalo in 2009, has been published in the journal Philosophy of Management. -

ITI in Hong Kong
18 Jun 2017 Wayang Wong master teacher Bambang Suryono conducted a week-long Wayang Wong workshop, organised by 流白之間 Blank Space Studio in collaboration with ITI. He and ITI alumna Melissa Leung also spoke in a dialogue session on 'Intercultural training in today's theatre practice'. -

WAAPA student on ITI
13 Jun 2017 From January to March 2017, ITI welcomed 5 visiting students from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
WAAPA visiting student Noemie Huttner-Koros' article about her intercultural experience at ITI has been published in Dircksey magazine. -

Board Members on heritage and literature
08 Jun 2017 In June, ITI Board Member Kwok Kian Woon joined Singapore Heritage Society President Dr Chua Ai Lin for a conversation on 'Re-imagining Space, Social Life, Singapore', while ITI Chairman Arun Mahizhnan moderated a talk on Singapore Tamil Literature for the Select Centre.
