Funding an Uncommon Vision
Once in a rare while, a project comes along which has the potential for influence far beyond its domain or country; one that holds out the promise to be the catalyst for deep change in many disparate fields and communities.
ITI is such a project. The institute’s Acting Programme is a distinctive intercultural actor training programme for contemporary theatre in the world.
It attracts a luminary master faculty who consider their time at ITI a deep source of inspiration to their practice, and talented students from all over the world looking to take their craft to the next level. Post graduation, ITI graduates continue to work in theatre, film and creative industries, making an impact in their respective communities. They also collaborate across geographical borders and have formed a theatre collective, Traditions & Editions Theatre Circus.
ITI is a registered charity and an approved Institution of Public Character* under Singapore’s laws governing the charity sector. Over 60% of our income comes from fundraising. ITI's IPC status was renewed from 25/02/24 to 24/02/25.
Supporters of ITI are listed here. It would be a privilege and an honour if you will join us in supporting ITI.
* IPC status is granted to only select charities by the Commissioner of Charities (Singapore). These charities fulfill higher standards of accountability and transparency, and are the only charitable entities in Singapore who are able to issue tax-exemption receipts for donations.
