Open Studio provides a rare opportunity for those interested in pursuing professional training at ITI to experience a day of Movement, Voice and Wayang Wong classes led by the faculty at ITI alongside our international student cohort at the historic 11 Upper Wilkie Road. Our small class sizes ensure each student receives direct, undivided attention as they progress through an array of contemporary and traditional training methodologies.
Classes will be led by Lim Chin Huat (Singapore), Simon Stollery (Australia) and master teacher Pujiyani (Indonesia), who was awarded the title of Nyi Ngabehi from the Istana Mangkunegaran in Solo, Indonesia as a steward in the performing arts.
Participants will have a chance to engage in dialogue with current ITI students throughout the day, culminating in a sit-down conversation with ITI co-founder and Director T. Sasitharan to discuss our training methodology and address questions about the programme.
This exclusive opportunity is open to those interested in pursuing ITI’s Professional Diploma in Intercultural Theatre (Acting). Places are limited, please register your interest early to secure a spot!
Upon registration, participants will be selected and invited to attend.
