Open House August 2013

Leveraging on the success of the first Open House we organised in February, we opened our doors again at the end of Aug to welcome prospective students and any parties who were interested in our work. We also had the pleasure of hosting the Singapore TV Channel, Okto, who decided to schedule the filming of the “Artographer” programme during our Open House.

Visitors had the chance to observe and take part in classes by Movement Teacher Leela Alaniz (aka Sirlei Terezhina Alaniz) and Voice and Speech Teacher Robin Payne, and witnessed a segment of the Wayang Wong presentation that the students were preparing with Wayang Wong Master Bambang Suryono. Okto presenters Oon Shu An and George Young were very excited to be able to participate in Ms. Alaniz’s class and their improvised sequence was filmed by the TV crew.

Visitors were then invited to lunch with students, faculty, alumni and staff, and had a Q&A session with Sasi.
