An actor’s preparation should be both rigorous and joyful. This workshop looks at what it means to be ready: preparing for rehearsals, creating a role. We will use voice, text and movement exercises to explore how preparation can lead to confidence and freedom.
The workshop will incorporate different movement and creative practices led by Koh Wan Ching, an accomplished Singaporean performer, theatre-maker, and the Head of Acting at ITI.
Following the session, there will be a short sharing about ITI’s unique intercultural learning programme, born of Kuo Pao Kun and T. Sasitharan’s vision of the potential for theatre to unite, empower, and change communities for the better.
