
ITI students present shimai (short dance sections) and selected scenes from Noh plays Kantan, Momijigari Oni-Zoroe and Chikubu-shima accompanied by musician Nakamori Kennosuke, after nine weeks of immersive training under the tutelage of Noh master teachers Kanze Yoshimasa and Kuwata Takashi of the Kanze Kyukohkai school.
This year, they are also joined by visiting students from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
The 2023 Noh term at ITI is supported by JCCI Singapore Foundation Limited, in association with the Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Singapore.
