Theresa Wee-Yenko

Theresa is a performer and performance maker whose work centres on the body — how it connects to the senses, imagination and culture.

She researched, created and performed as part of The Theatre Practice Actors’ Lab (2016), and subsequently Emergency Stairs (2017 - 2019). She choreographed Watermelon 我的美人, a physical theatre solo in 2019.

She completed a Professional Diploma in Intercultural Theatre (Acting) at Intercultural Theatre Institute, with the support of the Tan Chay Bing Education Fund Scholarship and the ITI Scholarship (2017 - 2019). She is currently studying Hindustani Classical Music at Temple of Fine Arts (2017 - present).
