Lina graduated from the Intercultural Theatre Institute (ITI) in 2014 where she studied Asian traditional art forms and contemporary and western theatre training. Her devised works include a short one-man piece OEOS (2021), and and Room 0505 (2020), a re-imagining of the existential play No Exit, devised together with fellow ITI alumni Ramith Ramesh incorporating Beijing Opera and Kutiyattam. She wrote and acted in The Ecosystem (2020), a short film capturing moments of life during the pandemic outbreak, which stemmed from her FYiP at ITI. All three works were created under The Substation’s Associate Artist Programme. Lina also participated in productions locally and overseas, including (Both Sides Now 2019);  Island Tales (Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre Cultural Extravaganza 2019),  precise purpose of being broken (M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2019);  Offstage (2018);  Hotel (OzAsia Festival 201; Singapore Theatre Festival 2016);  Prism (2017), and Mandala (Shanghai International Contemporary Theatre Festival 2015). Lina speaks English, Mandarin and Japanese.
