Ismael Gallaza Pantao is a theatre practitioner and cultural educator. He received his Professional Diploma in Intercultural Theatre (Acting) from the renowned Intercultural Theatre Institute in Singapore and a Master of Arts in Education from Mindanao State University, General Santos City. He currently serves as Program Director of the Bachelor of Performing Arts, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, Inc. - General Santos City, and an elected member of the Executive Council Committee of the National Committee on Dramatic Arts of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

His artistic practice encompasses community-based theatre with national and international festival performances, including Cyprus, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Singapore. In 2017, Ismael founded and directed major cultural showcase events for the Kalilangan Festival of General Santos City. His notable works include Bibityara Tano (2025), The COVID Spirit (2024), The Night Before the Wedding (2024), Let’s G sa Bangin (2024), Matahom (2024), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2022), ASYLUM (2022), PAGARI: Brothers in Piece (2012), and Dula Ta (2009, 2014, 2015, 2019).

He is a recipient of the General Santos City Youth Achievers Award (2009) and the Sultan Kudarat Award for Culture and Arts (2016). He is an active member of inITIate PH, Kalimudan Culture and Arts Center Association, Inc., and alumnus of MSU Kabpapagariya Ensemble.
