Wah Wah was the Resident Artist with The Theatre Practice, Singapore, since 2011. In 2009, she was in Creative Lab, a presentation of eight solo works that were the responses by eight artists to Kuo Pao Kun’s The Spirits Play, the inaugural play of the Traditions & Editions Theatre Circus (TETC), a theatre collective established by ITI alumni. Her solo went on to be presented in Kuala Lumpur. After her training at ITI on a Hong Kong Theatre Association’s Hong Kong Drama Scholarship, Wah Wah was involved in a youth directing project in Malaysia.
Back in Hong Kong, she worked in several productions by On & On Theatre Workshop, including The Seducer’s Diary in 2007, at the Cattle Depot Theatre Season, in which she was one of the ensemble cast, as well as Myth of Archaeology Bird: The Vanished Wings, a work that looked at Hong Kong 10 years after its handover to China, following the memorable Fly! Fly! Fly! Archaeology Bird, which premiered in 1997. Her recent works include 《地下急症室》(The Nonsensemakers).
