‘What’s Up In Little India?’
12 Feb 2014 Sasi was invited as a panelist to discuss the new Bill that might go into effect for a year in Little India. The proposed Bill will give law enforcement officers, which include police and the auxiliary police, more powers to carry out their duties. -

27 May 2013 Ilo Ilo, featuring alumna Yeo Yann Yann, won the Camera D’Or (for best first feature film) at the Cannes International Film Festival, in an important first for the Singapore film industry. -

Sasi at the World Summit on Arts & Culture
24 Sep 2009 ITI Director T. Sasitharan was a speaker at the World Summit on Arts & Culture in Johannesburg, in discussions on Freedom of Expression versus Cultural Sensitivity and on Intercultural Dialogue through the Arts: Models of Good Practice.
