ITI is proud to be the official partner of the Indonesian Culture Night (ICN), an event initiated by the Indonesian students of Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
As part of this collaboration, ITI Head of Acting, Koh Wan Ching, conducted an Introductory Workshop on The Viewpoints with the student-performers and directors of ICN on 2 October 2025 at ITI Studio 3. Through this workshop, the participants learned to listen and respond physically to one another, build spatial sensitivity, and create meaning collectively through movement and composition.
This partnership reflects ITI’s commitment to cultural exchange and intercultural dialogue, creating opportunities for students to engage deeply with theatre practice while celebrating Indonesian heritage. Through the workshop, ITI shared knowledge, skills, and perspectives with the ICN community, strengthening artistic practice and fostering meaningful connections across cultures.
By engaging with young artists and cultural organisers in Singapore, ITI affirms the importance of theatre as a space for dialogue, learning, and community-building. The upcoming edition of ICN will take place on 14 February 2026 at the Drama Centre Theatre.
