ITI begins partnership with the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda

On 21 March 2025, Intercultural Theatre Institute (ITI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU) in Vadodara, India, marking the beginning of a promising partnership aimed at fostering cross-cultural exchange, academic collaboration, and artistic enrichment in the field of performing arts.

In line with ITI's 25th Anniversary, this initiative creates opportunities for further conversations on intercultural theatre pedagogies and practice, creating a foundation for student and faculty exchanges and underscoring ITI's cultural impact on theatre training beyond Singapore.

The MoU was signed during a virtual ceremony which witnessed the presence of ITI Co-Founder & Director T. Sasitharan; MSU's in-charge Vice-Chancellor Professor Dhanesh Patel; Deputy Director of Office of International Affairs Professor Vanisha Nambiar; Dean of Faculty of Performing Arts Professor Gaurang Bhavsar; Head of Department of Drama Rakesh Modi along with Dr Trilok Singh Mehra, Darshan Purohit and Dr Vishwas Sant.
