ITI Director T. Sasitharan (Sasi) has been awarded the 2022 Harvard Club of Singapore Fellow Award (formerly known as the HUAAS Fellow Award) by the Harvard Club of Singapore / HUAAS.
He is the third recipient to receive this prestigious award as a recognition of his “contribution to the development of the arts and culture in Singapore, which cannot be seen apart from his leadership and direction of the Intercultural Theatre Institute (ITI) over the last twenty years, and its impact on the next generation of artists in Singapore.”
The first Fellow was awarded to Dr Noeleen Heyzer in 2019 and the second Fellow was awarded to Prof Wang Gungwu in 2021.
