Alumni, Cannes and a CAMERA D’OR

Ilo Ilo, featuring alumna Yeo Yann Yann, won the Camera D’Or (for best first feature film) at the Cannes International Film Festival, in an important first for the Singapore film industry.

The film by director Anthony Chen and producers Ang Hwee Sim and Yuni Hadi, also included alumna Zelda Tatiana Ng in a supporting role as sister to Yann Yann’s character Hwee Leng.
