Professional Diploma in Intercultural Theatre (Acting)
Intercultural Theatre Institute (ITI), an independent theatre school, offers a Professional Diploma in Intercultural Theatre (Acting), and started classes in January 2012 with an intake of 10 students. The first semester included training in Kutiyattam, Acting, Voice, Movement and Taiji, and ended on 01 June with a 100% pass rate.
ITI is based on Kuo Pao Kun’s vision of intercultural actor training using a matrix of traditional theatre systems and conceptions of theatre making from different cultures, with a view to producing critically and socially engaged artists who make original, contemporary theatre.
Support Us
ITI is founded on the belief that theatre would have little meaning if it is not connected to life and society. Find out more about ways to support this unique enterprise in theatre training, social and cultural interaction, and human understanding.
